In an effort to locate the reason for my website being down for days, I have spent all of my time ensuring my account doesn’t get hacked again and as a result I haven’t had any time to do a new toon. So rather then missing the post, I went back through my archives of sketches and ideas and found today’s effort. Today’s sketch I did waaaaaaaaaaay back in 2002 and never got round to redrawing it within my current style. CARTOON NOTES
I thought today’s cartoon was fairly timely with the (Australian) release of the new X-Files movie, “The X-Files: I Want to Believe.“. I had drawn this cartoon many years ago and had recently been going through my ideas sketchbooks and rediscovered it. I’ve also inserted a few little ‘in jokes’, as well as the title of my own novel about two serial killers (which I managed to write 100 pages of and never finished). I hope you like it (Do you notice the style of cartooning I was influenced by at the time?).
