twisted musings reviewed at ‘The Webcomics Beacon’
Fes, Tanya and Mark over at ‘The Webcomics Beacon‘ have reviewed my work in their latest podcast. Now I must admit, I was extremely nervous waiting to hear what someone else had thought of my work (which is ironic, because I post my work at least three times a week and it is essentially scrutinised everyday), but in the end, I pressed ‘Play’ on the Media Player to listen to the podcast and waited…
…..and I sat there and digested what was said. I’ll be honest, I didn’t know how to take it and typically my first response is to get defensive. But then I thought, ‘You know, they’re pretty much on the money.’ So rather than take their comments to heart, I embraced them. Yes, the majority of my cartoons DO include puns, but I’d like to think that most of them work (some don’t, but the deadline is king). And you guys continue to read so I must be doing something right.
It is now my goal to be the King of Webcomic puns (look out Brad Guigar!).
Thanks guys for the review. Now, my readers, me know what you think.
